Why a sudden change?
I want to start all over again. I want to change.
Last night, I watched Tami's video/movie for 08. It was the best movie I have seen. It's way better than Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. It's very inspirational and I realized many things. Yesterday was a day of realization. (I watched Ice Princess on Star Movies yesterday and although it was not tht entertaining, I reflected while watching the movie) I really am selfish. I want to be on top all of the time on acads stuff. And it makes me a bit evil sometimes.

Truth to tell, hindi dapat sinasabing ang retreat ay para maging "mas close kay God" o "mapatibay ang faith mo". Hindi one-weekend event ang pagiging close kay God. Hindi lang every Sunday or church services dapat natin siyang inaalala. Every moment of our lives dapat binubuhay natin para sa kanya.
Bakit ka ba nagpapakahirap sa mga requirements at pag-aaral? Para sa grades? Para ma-please parents mo? Teachers mo? Kaklase mo? Sarili mo? Pagkatapos ba ng isang daang taon magmamatter pa rin lahat ng ginawa mo? Matatandaan ka ba ng mga susunod na henerasyon?
When all is said and done, wala namang magiging mahalaga kundi yung mga gumagawa at nabubuhay para sa panginoon.
Let's get real. Everything can vanish and will turn to dust. Grades do not matter. What you do and who you are for the Almighty God is what we need.
Siguro high grades and those things are the rewards na lang ni God for those na true followers and believers who show their faith in actions and words...
God first before everything.
Pero may tanong lang ako, paano mo malalaman kung ano talaga ang gusto ni God?
Kunwari may gusto parents mo pero may gusto ka rin na contradicting sa parents pero mas mabebenefit ka sa gusto mo.
concrete example: gusto mo mag-sports pero gusto ng parents mo studies....as in uno para maging valedictorian. eh ikaw, magaling ka talaga sa sports. ano yung gusto ni God??? |

basta ganito:
ang laki ng epekto ng retreat sa studies at time ko. sa time, sa pisay, puyatan ang kailangan.
di tuloy namin nagawa yung RD nang weekend pati na yung pinoy project na magdamag ko ginawa
tapos bio, bagsak siyempre sa lab rep. sa math, bagsak sa unang quiz. sa com sci, bagsak sa unang quiz. sa physics, pangit ang nasubmit kong goldberg machine kasi inubos ng pinoy ang time ko. siguradong di pasado sa ad bio screening exam
tuloy wala na akong pag-asang makapasok sa mga competition. Ibigay ko pa ang 200% ng makakaya ko, di pa rin ako makakasali sa mga competition kasi:
bio - ian
chem - bon at tobit
physics - bon, tobit at angel
math - steph, tobit, jomo at bon
tapos sa nalalapit na BioCheMathP6 competition, sa bio si ian, sa math si steph, sa physics si bon at sa chem si tobit.
tapos sina tobit at bon, pwedeng isabak sa kahit anong field.
doing my best for everything is equal to nothing.
katulad sa mg group projects, sino ba talaga ang nag-bebenefit masyado?
pero tulad nga sa non-con ng pota, "sisikat din ang araw ko"
pero kelan? pag grumaduate na sa Pisay?
malaki nga talga ang naitutulong ng MTG. kasi gumagawa ito ng domino effect na tumutulong sa iyo sa high school at sa pagsali sa mga competitions.
nag-robotics na lang sana ako at hindi na ad chem para makasali pa rin sa competitions somehow.
tapos yung fair pa next week. alang kwenta talaga kasi may pasok pa rin for three days. akala ko pa nman intrams. pero di ko naman sinisisi ang 07 kasi di naman nila iyon kasalanan.
sana magunaw na talaga ang mundo.
o kaya naman malaman ko na may mutant powers ako na napaka-imposible.

siguro nga hell week lang talaga last week. pero nakapagtataka. kung retreat nga and dapat maging mas close kay God, bakit biglang dumating ang isang week na parang hindi ka na close kay God?

iyan ang nagpapikot sa buhay. kung ika'y tunay na kristiyano, sasabihin mong wala tamagang karma. Ang "essence" ng karma, ay katulad sa ibig sabihin ng gintong aral. Dumadating nga ang mga mahihirap na pagsubok, ang pagtakbo palayo dito ay magdudulot lamang ng mas malaking suliranin. Kung ang pagsubok ay iyong harapin nang matatag at walang pag-aalinlangan, mabuting karma ang babalik sa iyo balang araw. hindi man ito mamaya, o bukas, basta babalik pa ito.
Ang hirap nga talaga maging iskolar ng Pisay na lahat ay tumitingin sa iyo. Kung tutuusin, kung pinababayaan natin ang ating edukasyon, nawawala na rin ang pag-asa (sorry, di pa kasi ako nakakatulog nang maayos for two days) ng mga Pilipino para umahon sa kahirapan. Hindi na nga sila umaasa sa mga opisyal sa gobyerno dahil sa dami ng problem sa loob tulad ng katiwalian. Tayong mga "bata" (Happy Birthday Leki!!! =P) pa ay hinuhubog ng mga mahuhsay at marurunong na mga guro upang tayo'y may sandata sa pagtahak sa ating misyon bilang isang iskolar sa Pisay

IT'S OVER!!
Exams are over!
Chem - 41/43.
Physics - 1.25. dissapointed. You think 1.25's high but I don't think it's high. It is very high. Joke. I don't want to brag but I can't understand physics anymore!! If you don't me, it means you don't me. (bangag) Back to what I was saying. In earth sci, i got straight unos. in physics 2 1.25's then 2 unos. Now: uno then 1.25 then I think 1.5. I predict that my tentative grade is 1.5 because I failed the second long test: 17/40. It's one third of half of our grade meaning I lost 9.6% already.
Bio - NR
Eng - I got a perfect score for the sentence outline
Math - NR
Soc Sci - I hate the test. I studied i ndetail and what would come up in front of me are questions on each historical perod in general.
Requirements for Next Week:
English - Speech and Long test
Chem - Practical Test
Pinoy - project. edit the video.
STR -Research Design
Com Sci - project

english and com sci tomorrow. (practice using windows movie maker quickly)

it means i won't be going to the retreat because my parents quarelled on this and that and in one way arrived on discussing the retreat ten a bigger fight emerged. Then POOF!. it became carbon dioxide exchanged by the.....(bio mode) which was a product in the reaction...(chem mode).
that concludes my day and wraps up my week. |

Let's start with STR.
The STR written exam was easy compared to what we have thought. Fast forward. The Math long test was a little bit tricky and I got 26/30. I got 41/0 in the Chem long test.
Day 1
I arrived at Pisay early in the morning to be able to study better with some of my former classmates. For that day, we had our chem and english perio. I was done with chem and finished the book the night before. I read two book notes, monkey notes on the night before, and spark notes on the day itself. Book notes are really helpful but the front lobby was not a convenient place to study. Well, it depends. It's good to study with friends who are genius in some (or all) fields but if the people around you re noisy, you cannot concentrate with what you are reading or solving.
Chem - there were many items and I shotgunned for three numbers. Noel and Ian got 45/45. Wow! I still don't know my score.
English - I hate two of my classmates. We didn't knew that we had to study Chinese words, the dates and places. I hate you guys. I sholdn't have helped you before.
The exam was pretty easy: Vocab, identification and essay. Even though I didnt knew some of the Chinese words, I'm lucky the hard words didn't come out in the test.
Day 2
Same as Day 1. I practically haven't had any time for studying math because of bio.
1st long test: 14/20
2nd long test: 35/55 I don't know but even though I study or not, my performnce in bio exams are not affected.
I colored my bio notes, photocopied bio books, colored the bio hand-outs and organized them in an envelope. I used my time studying bio.
Math - For me, it was a bit easy mainly because I answered all the questions and finished it before the exam ended.
Bio - It was harder than Math but easier than what I have expected. Ma'am David was the one who made the test and I didn't lern much from Ma'am Docto in immunity because we didn't have enough time to finish the lesson on the immune system. I am not sure with eight of my answers. Jape and I compared our answers and we wer different in only eight numbers. That means, Jape got 52 while I got 60. Haha! Joke.
I won't be going to the retreat because my parents ae both sick and the son of our landlady's driver, which is our neighbor (not our driver) passed away at the age of 9 / 10.
Now, I am doing the chem lab report and will study soc sci and physics later. Maybe, I will study physics tomorrow because it would be a Palima test and I don't have hard questions to answer. I feel I'll have a low grade in physics. Maybe I'll get a grade of 1.25 for the second quarter which means a 1.25 or 1.50 tentative grade.

A lesson I learned today. Two days ago, (wow, naka-English) I was worrying I won't be able to do the sentence outline for the English term paper. I was wrong. If you woke up at the right side of the bed, not on your left, you'll be able to do thins properly. I've done many things today.
Now, I'm taking a break from typing my sentence outline. I don't do papers by hand, I type everything I think. My outlne's long. It's good that it's long because i'll be doing an eight-page term paper. It's good that it's long, it means it is detailed and Ma'am would like it.
Whenever I type a post here in English, iTunes plays 1&0 city of Future Soundscape.
stupid pokemon. watched a movie a while ago. speaking of movie, i read in the marquee section of NC, google will buy YouTube for $1.6 B. Pokemon - MewTwo returns, for me, is the best Pokemon movie I watched so far. The story is good. Dubbing and animation is the same as any pokemon movie. It's entertaining and the pacing is fast unlike in Destiny Deoxys wherein I kept on waiting when the pokemon of the world VS deoxys would be shown until the movie ended.And I suspect the advertisers only made it up to promote the movie.

str - Research Design. nag-aral ako para sa long test and based sa aking inaral, yung research design "parang" madali lang depnde sa topic mo. sa amin kasi technologically-inclined. at iyun, may good thing palang nangyari sa akin last week. very good raw ang aking impromtu speech.
The question thrown to me was, how can my str project benefit the Philippines. basta in-explain ko yung project namin tapos kung kanino siya aimed. tapos sabi ko, pwedeng gumawa ang mga teacher ng harder or more difficult problems for their students. To be ble to answer the problem, the student must think out-of-the-box. iyan yung pampanalo kong phrase. akala ko tuloy baka hindi ko mabola si ma'am kasi parang medyo impossible ang sinasabi ko kasi wala masyadong may computer.

I believe this week is really hell week. The first day might not be that hard but let's just wait for what devastation the rest of the days might bring
STR - Oh no! I had a mistake in finding the median. It doen't really matter because even though I would get an uno tentative grade this quarter, my first quarter grade is 1.5
English - Not that much. She gave the Vocab for our perio. HW: Outline for Monday
Physics - I finally understood physics. *cheers* I'm still nervous to take the 2nd long test. It might be hard, it might be easy. But I need to overperfect the long test to retain my grade.
Math make-up - trigo's hard.
I got my copy of Ramayan 3652 AD from Sir Martz. Thank you sir!!! I still haven't read the whole issue because I was doing many things a while ago, occupying the breaks we had.
Homeroom and Pinoy - as usual, boring. HW: Make an 8-stanza poem with 4 lines each stanza, with rhyming and definite number of syllables: "tugma". I did it during dismissal. It was hard considering you are limited to the words you can use and there should be rhyming.
Math - trigo's hard.
Chem - The topic for our long test was only discussed a while ago and that meeting was the only time to discuss it. I feel we should scrap the laboratory activities and our teacher should give more examples. Although he gave 7 examples, these were fairly easy and I'm sure these type of questions won't come out. HW: flowchart: lab act. 26
I'll learn to be thrifty and try to save P15.00 a day.
Bad events: Neneng would not hit Metro Manila much. Why are classes suspended when I don't even think it would be suspended and why are classes not suspended when I'm waiting for it to be suspended? Chem LT. My score remained the same while some got their score up by 3-5 points.

I wasted my time watching pokemon, then playing comman & conquer, burning cd's and still downloading sumthing.
yeah i'm stuck at page 303 in kitchen god's wife. stupid reqt's. next week's hell week. teachers didn't gave much load this week for us to rest and prepare another sleepless week. good.. i won't be going to the retreat. waste of time and money. i don't become closer to god by activities, seminars , blah blah. like siddhartha, he learned more outside, in nature than from books, and brahmins.....
